How to Apply

We look forward to welcoming your family to our community!

Registration is only able to begin after the centre is licensed with Vancouver Coastal Health Community Care Facilities Licensing. We expect this to occur in early September 2025, right before we are able to open our facility and begin providing child care.

How to Apply?

We will be taking interest and creating a waitlist in the meantime. If you would like to be added to our waitlist, please email childcare@wvschools.ca. Please include information regarding the type of care you are interested in as well as your child’s name and birthdate, as well as your preferred start date. If you are a member of one of our priority groups, please indicate this in your email.

A ‘registration’ link will be shared via email to families interested in being added to the waitlist. This initial process will collect basic information so that we can quickly follow up with the official online registration process.

Please note that registration will be completed online. We require a copy of the child’s identification (birth certificate/passport), immunization record as well as the completion of a registration form (PDF) and medical/health/care form (PDF).

Important Notes:

Availability:

    • Applications are open to all families but will be processed according to the priority categories. Space in the center is limited. We encourage early application, especially for families who fall under priority categories 1 and 2.

Intake/Transitions:

  •  An annual intake will begin towards the end of August/early September. This is due to students transitioning to Kindergarten and age-groupings will adjust upwards.
    • Registration and start dates will be ongoing until the centre is at capacity.

Fees

  • Tuition and parent fees will be provided at the time of enrollment and are subject to change annually. We will be publishing the fee structure in Spring/Summer 2025.
  • We look forward to being able to reduce the fees for families through the Child Care Fee Reduction Initiative (CCFRI). We will be opting into the CCFRI; however, this process requires additional steps and approval by the Ministry of Education and Child Care’s (MOECC) Child Care Operating Fund. The actual fee reduction amount will be shared once it is known. The amount of the fee reduction is subject to change based on many factors (individual enrollment, MOECC policies and programming, etc.).
