This event has been postponed (US Women’s Colleges)
Tuesday, December 3 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
This event has been postponed until the spring. Please watch the calendar for this event in the spring. This event will focus on Women’s Colleges in the US, and will feature a panel of recent graduates from six women’s colleges – Wellesley, Smith, Mt. Holyoke, Bryn Mawr, Barnard, and Scripps – who are living and working in Vancouver. Scott Atherton will offer a few introductory remarks, about the liberal arts and sciences college (LAC) experience in general and women’s colleges in particular, citing what he believes to be some of the advantages offered by such institutions. The bulk of the evening will be devoted to the panelists who will each tell their story and discuss why they found the experience so valuable, touching not only on their college years, but how they believe their college experience prepared them for their lives beyond college.
