For students entering grades 6 & 7
This program is designed to expose students to a variety of digital art and media experiences, including photography, stop-motion animation, green screen technology, video production, sound production and animation. The goal is to give students a variety of creative, digital methods of expressing themselves.
Goals & Benefits of this Program:
- Exposure to a variety of digital art and media apps and sites
- Provide opportunities for positive digital self-expression
- Work in collaborative groups to produce content
Day/Time: Mondays, 3:30-5:00 pm

Cari Wilson is an educator with over 20 years of classroom experience, much of that in a BYOD environment. Cari is currently the Elementary Innovation and Technology Lead Teacher in West Vancouver Schools. With a Masters Degree in Education Technology, Cari is passionate about helping students use and explore technology in a meaningful, engaging way. Cari is currently the 1st Vice-President of CUEBC (Computer Using Educators of BC) and she sits on several Ed-Tech related committees. Cari hopes to encourage more girls to get excited about STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) related careers!
