We have learned from Vancouver Coastal Health that a member of the West Vancouver Schools community has tested positive for COVID-19.  Our medical health officer has assured us that the risk continues to be low in our community.   The individual is self-isolating at home and all people who were in close contact with them have been reached by Vancouver Coastal Health.  If you have any questions regarding this situation please contact 8-1-1

We expect you have heard that Collingwood School is closed as of tomorrow, March 10.

We continue to take direction from our local and provincial health authorities who still deem the risk as low in British Columbia.

As of this time, West Vancouver Schools remain open and we plan to continue classes and other activities for the rest of the week.
