More Information

Schools are no longer accepting documents by email. Upon submission of an application, you will receive an email with a link to securely upload PDF copies of all required documents.

Eligibility for student admission, enrollment, and placement at West Vancouver Secondary School is subject to the terms set out in legislation and West Vancouver School District procedures  (view the: West Vancouver Board of Education’s Administrative Procedure 300).

The West Vancouver School District encourages students to attend their catchment area schools while also enabling students and their families to make choices to attend other schools in the District as required to meet their educational needs.

The placement of a student at WVSS will be dependent upon the availability of space, programs and resources.  Priority is given to students living within catchment and students with siblings attending the school. A second level of priority includes students living within district followed by students living out of district.

When a parent or guardian requests permission to attend a school outside of their catchment area, the parent or guardian will be expected to assume responsibility for transportation and any other costs associated with this decision.

Out of catchment families wishing to register students at WVSS should pay close attention to deadlines that are used to establish waiting lists.
