Nestled in the coastal forest, Lions Bay Community School is celebrating over 30 years of innovative education. The unique open area design invites multi-age groupings for instruction. Current student population is approximately 60 students, taught by a staff of five full and part-time skilled and compassionate teachers. Together with a Vice-Principal in charge, administrative assistant, custodian and one part time Educational Assistant, the school provides a dynamic on site play-based education that operates closely with the school community.
Our school is also supported by itinerant access to a range of services including counselling, challenge and speech/language pathology. Our parent community is highly supportive of school initiatives like Family Education Evenings, Home Reading, Scholastic Book Clubs and Fun Food.
At Lions Bay we provide a safe learning environment that nurtures confident learners and provides a foundation of support critical for student success.
