WVS International programs is seeking students currently in grade 10 and 11 for temporary assignments during the summer.  See posting HERE. Successful candidates should be available from August 20, 2024, to August 28, 2024. There may be additional opportunities to work with International Programs during the school year.

Phase 2 has begun on the BC Hydro upgrading project on our school grounds. This impacts an area of the student parking along the east side fence.  As such, traffic will be allowed to exit the south exit, however there will be fencing and construction which may impede flow at times. Please expect possible delays. See map HERE

BC Hydro project crews are going to be working at the roundabout at Chartwell Drive and Cross Creek Road starting Monday, Jan 22nd. The closure on Cross Creek Road, between Highland Drive and Eyremount Drive will remain for the week as the crew shifts their materials and equipment from that location to the roundabout area, after which that portion will re-open. RESCHEDULED Advanced Placement Info Night  Due to School Snow Closures on Thursday, January 18^th our in-person AP Info Night has been rescheduled to Tuesday Feb 6^th 7:00 pm in Sentinel’s library.  Universities worldwide recognize AP when making admission decisions. In fact, AP can be used in admissions in more than 60 countries as success on AP Exams shows readiness for university-level coursework.  This is an in-person event and no pre-registration is required.

Parent Teacher Virtual Conferences Parent Teacher Virtual Conferences will be held on Thursday, February 1st between 1:30pm-4:00pm. Registration will open 9:00am on Wednesday, January 24th.  Please look for instructions and links to School Appointments Online in the Sentinel E-Bulletin which will be sent out Monday, January 22nd.
