News update: Last week in Southern California, sudden downpours of rain flooded roads and created mudslides that crashed into people's homes. It swallowed dozens of homes, leaving some people homeless, and even forced the closure of a major highway in Santa Barbara. The reason for the mudslides had been because the land could no longer absorb water due to previous wildfires. So far, 20 people have died and four are still reported missing.
