AP French Language and Culture
Presenter – Mahasti Mofazali

The AP French Language and Culture summer institute course is for new and experienced teachers. During the four days we will look at the exam format. We will discuss the six themes and the subthemes while looking at authentic resources. We will take a close look at the rubrics for the free response section of the exam and will score student samples from the May 2017 exam. We will also share strategies to improve students speaking and writing, focusing on the three modes of communication: interpretive, interpersonal and presentational. If required, new teachers will be guided in completing their course audit so interested participants should bring their course syllabi. Participants should also have access to their computers, a USB as well as the resources they use in their classes.
