PARTNERING FOR EXCELLENCE
At West Vancouver Schools, partnerships with local organizations and individuals provide invaluable learning
opportunities for students in creative and performing arts. In addition to a joint agreement with the 500-seat Kay
Meek Theatre, West Vancouver is one of the only districts with specialist art teachers in all elementary schools.
Distinguished alumni include Bobbie Burghers, Douglas Copeland and Ross Penhall, who have each spent time
working with students to support art and design mentoring opportunities.
